I, Podiatrist

In this blog I'll offer my perspective on several aspects of common life. The Achilles Heel thing, I suppose, in the title refers to the fact that I am a practicing Podiatrist, but has other obvious conotations with respect to its mythological use and its actual improtance as a tendon in the human body. You'll find here some views and my insights on the dynamics that make up my experience. My perspective has been molded by the fact that I am a Dominican with a BA in Anthropology, and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine by trade. I spent my early childhood in Spain, France and New York, before reaching California. Yeah well as my favorite TV defective detective, MONK, always says of his abilities "Its a gift....and its a curse" . I hope all who read can gather some insights as well.

I am really enjoying something known as "podcasts" especially like The Daily Source Code: (with) Adam Curry. Great features include Mashups; where songs by different artists are played toegether (that is the at the same time, lyrics of one with the music of another). Cool. "The Hit Test" were clips of songs are played and you guess the song. Goodwork! Other podcasts I have enjoyed include "the Adventures of Dr. Floyd. More later
